At Tisdale School bullying is not tolerated. We continually reinforce positive values through our character education program. Our goals are achieved by developing strong bonds between our students and their teachers, direct teaching about bullying behavior, and holding clear expectations and consistent consequences for hurting with words or actions. Our teachers use literature study, songs, assemblies, videos, and discussions to teach about teasing and bullying. We constantly reinforce and model the values of respect, honesty, kindness, trust, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. These values are woven into our lessons each day.
